Node.js in Shared Hosting
When you host an Internet application on our cutting-edge cloud platform and you’d like to try Node.js, you will be able to add it to your account regardless of the shared hosting plan that you’re using. This can be done via the Upgrades section in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll be able to take advantage of Node.js in no more than a couple of minutes after you add this service to the account. You will be able to choose how many instances you wish to add to your account – one instance means that one app will be using Node.js. In the new section that will show up in the Control Panel, you can type the path to the .js file in your hosting account and select whether that file will be reachable via the server’s shared IP address or via a dedicated one. Our platform will also specify a port for the connection. You will be able to shut down or to reboot each instance separately, if needed.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
You’ll be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-based software application hosted in a semi-dedicated server account, since the Node.js platform is available with all our semi-dedicated hosting packages and you can order it with only a couple of mouse clicks. In case you would like to use it for several websites, you can order more instances through the Upgrades section of your Hepsia Control Panel. The activation is as simple as choosing the folder path to your .js file and choosing whether the Node.js platform should use a dedicated IP address or any of the server’s shared ones, so you can make the most of Node.js even if you lack previous experience with similar software. Our system will also set a randomly generated port which will be used to access the .js file associated with the specific application. Hepsia has an easy-to-navigate interface that will permit you to restart and to discontinue any of your active instances, to add new ones or to check your apps’ output with just one click.
Node.js in VPS Servers
All VPS servers that are ordered with our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel come with Node.js by default and you can take full advantage of this platform for any web-based application that you run on the Virtual Private Server. Since we haven’t set any restriction on the number of instances that you can make use of, you can take advantage of the power of our virtual servers and mix it with the full capacity of Node.js. The configuration is done via the Hepsia Control Panel’s easy-to-work-with, point ‘n’ click GUI, so even if you are not technically experienced, you will not experience any difficulties while working with the Node.js platform. You will only have to specify the folder path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to select if it will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. What’s more, our system will also specify a port to access this file and you will be able to see it in the respective section in the Control Panel. With only one click, you can view your apps’ output and to discontinue or to reboot any instance hosted on the server.
Node.js in Dedicated Servers
Node.js is offered with all Linux dedicated servers that are ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel, so you’ll be able to make full use of this event-driven platform as soon as your physical machine is assembled. As the Hepsia Control Panel is quite user-friendly, you’ll be able to make that without experiencing any complications, even if you have not worked with Node.js before, as everything that you will need to do on your end is indicate the folder path to the .js file that will use Node.js and the IP that will be used to access this file. The latter can be a dedicated IP or can be shared with other web sites. You can manage as many instances as you want on our astonishingly powerful dedicated servers and each of them can be managed separately – you will be able to start, to reboot or to deactivate it, to check the output of the app that uses it, etc. You can do this through the simple-to-work-with, point & click Hepsia Control Panel, so you can use the power of the Node.js platform without effort.
