There are two services you need for a functioning website - a domain and a hosting plan for it. If you type the Internet domain in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it may be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain inside your account. You may also park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Hosting

When you get a shared hosting plan through our company, you are going to be able to register as many domain names as you want and park them with just a couple of mouse clicks via your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Using our feature-rich Domain Manager tool, you can select from a number of templates and add your own text to any of them. If you prefer to forward a domain, all it takes is to type the URL, save it, and you will be all set. You'll be able to un-park a domain name and host it in your account just as easily and our system is going to do all the required changes - update the domain name servers, create DNS records for it, set up a domain folder in the File Manager section of your account, etcetera. If you have numerous domains registered using our company, you can use a filter to see just the parked or only the hosted ones for simpler management. Having in mind that you can park a domain name only with the registrar, you can employ this function only for domains that are registered through us, but not through another company.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we provide you will have the ability to park as many domains that are registered with us as you would like. Considering that only the registrar company can offer a parking option, you cannot park domain addresses which are only hosted on our advanced cloud hosting platform. Through the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with only a few mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for easier management. We provide a variety of templates you can use and if you prefer, you could also include some custom text to any of them. If you decide to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you will not need to do anything manually - our system is going to create a domain folder within the File Manager section and will set up all the necessary DNS records so that your domain address functions properly and starts opening the content which you upload for it on our servers.
