A: The website migration service on offer at rightcloud is entirely free of cost and consists of transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your current hosting provider to your new web hosting account with us. We’ll also edit all the settings necessary for your web sites to be fully operational on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any sort of website. With years of experience behind their backs, they’re experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other well–known Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built web application with plenty of custom libraries is as easy as moving a simple WordPress blog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time frame, because there are lots of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to transfer your web site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (when the website content is not large).

A: We’ll require the login information for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel and the web site’s name (domain name).

A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. After that, we will tell you how to move the domain over to your hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS resource records.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t get in touch with them in any way.

A: Yes. We support all standard Linux–driven hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, since we don’t provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we don’t support proprietary website building and management interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
